our mission
Heck of the North Productions will produce the highest quality adventure cycling events by providing beautiful and challenging courses, fostering passion for cycling culture via artistic and philanthropic endeavors and promoting strong community and business partnerships.
This Land
Heck of the North Productions acknowledges that this event takes place on the ancestral and contemporary lands of Indigenous people, specifically the Ojibwe. In 1854 the U.S. government forced the Ojibwe to cede this land in the Treaty of LaPointe, which led to a wholesale theft of their culture and vital resources. Our business also profits from offering experiences on this land that continues to hold significance for its original stewards, the Indigenous nations and peoples of this region. We recognize that reconciliation requires time and effort, and we are committed to showing respect for this land, and listening to and advocating for the sovereignty of Indigenous nations today. We encourage you to learn the history and current culture of the Native People where you ride.
