Gravel + Bikepacking

I began gravel riding two years ago by accident, touring around on a fat bike because that’s all I had. I called it going for a bike ride. Now it’s called gravel riding. It’s also how I ski tour: you pack a lunch, some bevs, and head out to explore. When people ask me about my gravel bike, I describe it as a ten-speed with mountain bike tires. To test my training and skills I entered a gravel “race” called The Crusher - my first ever race - 100 miles of enhanced gravel riding. After completing said race, I sat at the finish line, at midnight, a changed person. I’ve also ridden in Finland (the country) and bring the experience of foreign gravel to the table. Honestly, I know a little about hardware, a little about gear, some about nutrition and hydration. But I know that I really, really love riding gravel. Cheers!
